Couple of weeks ago, we gathered for a momentous occasion: the 2025 Anières
Alumni Graduation Event.
It was a night of inspiring stories, of joint values and of embracing the future with open arms.

Hosted by Anières Program Deputy Manager Yael Rozenvald, the event brought together
the heart and soul of our community: graduates, families, partners, and visionaries.
The heartfelt opening speech by Technion President Prof. Uri Sivan emphasized the
Technion and the Anieres Program’s shared values of excellence and leadership.
Following, Mr. Marc Hamon, Anieres Program founder and visionary, shared the story of his
journey – from a young student in ORT Central Institute in Anières, Switzerland, to a
successful entrepreneur, reminding all present of how hard work and striving for innovation
can shape the future.
Mr. Robert Singer, co-founder of the Program, told a moving origin story: how he, originally
from Ukraine, Marc Hamon (originating from Morocco), and Shaul Mofaz (previously an
immigrant from Iran), sat together one night over dinner – three immigrants, three life stories
– and decided to establish the Anières Program in Israel. Their shared commitment to giving
back laid the foundation for what has become a life-changing program for hundreds of
students.
Our Program Manager, Ms. Ira Lotman, spoke with both passion and clarity about the daily
manifestation of a vision.

The words of our Alumni Representative, Daria Levitan, captured the spirit of the evening.
With honesty and grace, she spoke of growth, of friendship, of academic and personal
resilience, and of what it means to carry the Anières legacy forward.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of alumni certificates and a personal gift to
each graduate – symbols of their journey and of the community that stands with them. As the
names were called and applause rang through the hall, you could feel the sense of pride
radiating in every direction.

This year, amid the ongoing complexities of life in Israel, we closed the event with a moment
of collective reflection. As we celebrated achievements, we held space for compassion,
unity, and the belief that better days are near.
As our new alumni join the global Anières family, we wish for them to continue to carry the
torch with humility, courage, and brilliance. May they build, lead, and give back – just as
others have done before them.
