There’s something uplifting about the first gathering of the year – that gentle hum of conversation, the familiar faces returning from the summer break, and the (not so) quiet excitement of new beginnings. At the beginning of November, we officially opened the 2025-26 academic year with an event that blended community, professional vision, and a truly inspiring look into the future.

This year’s celebration was held in collaboration with the Technion Alumni Association, marking the start of a deeper partnership that will accompany our students throughout their academic and professional journeys.

The evening opened with greetings by Prof. Guedi Capeluto, the Technion’s Dean of Students. In his warm and thoughtful address, he highlighted the joint values shared by Anières Program and the Technion.
Next, the head of the Technion Alumni Association’s mentoring program introduced students to one of the most meaningful resources available to them: the opportunity to be personally guided by Technion alumni who have already walked the path they are just beginning. With dozens of mentors across industries and disciplines, the program opens doors to practical insights, career advice, and long-term professional relationships.

The heart of the event was a truly inspiring alumni panel hosted by Ms. Ruti Donag, CEO of the Technion Alumni Association. On stage were three remarkable Technion alumni, each bringing a distinct voice and perspective – Dotan Bar Noy, entrepreneur; Dr. Ksenya Kveler, Principal Medical Science Manager at Microsoft Health AI; and Inbal (Biran) Kreiss, Head of Innovation at IAI.
Each shared their personal and professional journey – the choices that shaped their careers, the unexpected turns, the lessons learned, and the courage required to grow. Students listened with a spark in their eyes, recognizing that great careers are not linear.
By the end of the evening, it was clear – everyone’s future is filled with possibilities.
